The United Way of Bruce Grey is focused on mobilizing volunteer and financial resources in Bruce and Grey Counties.
They were looking for a new website design solution that would allow staff the ability to update the content in terms of messaging, releases, event notifications etc.
Together we developed a site that allowed for:
- Easy content creation.
- Custom content types such as "Community Library" and "Member Agency" items.
- Importing of Tweets and posting of Facebook activity.
- Tagging of content, sharing via social media, and easy uploading of videos from their YouTube channel.
The site was built in the latest version of Drupal (7.x), an open source website content management solution that provides nonprofit organizations with an interface that is easy to use, yet provides powerful opportunities to increase supporter engagement via your website.
